5 Internotes Seem to Disappear - ID: 1549506
Last Update: Settings changed ( hortont )

I'm trying to use your Internotes plugin, it looks really
promising...except it doesn't work.

I can create notes, and *sometimes* they appear and I can type text.
But if I go back to the page later, they are invisible. They are in
the notes manager though.

I'm using:

Debian unstable, kernel 2.6.16
Firefox 1.5.0.4
Internotes 2.1

Are there any settings or other extensions that may intefere with it?

I think I found the problem: Google Browser sync. Read below.

Ok, here are my extensions:

Japanese Language Pack 1.5.0.1 (Disabled, the version is too old for
Firefox
1.5.0.4 but it won't let me uninstall)
Flashblock 1.5.1
Google Browser Sync 1.2.2006.08.02.0
Flat Bookmark Editing 0.7.5
Tark (Temporary Bookmarks) 0.22 (DISABLED)
Internote 2.1
Diigo Toolbar 0.5.2006061201

I though there might be a problem with Diigo Toolbar: when Diigo Toolbar
and Internotes are both installed, Internotes doesn't work (well the notes

don't show up although they are in the Manager). Then when I uninstalled

Diigo Toolbar sometimes they work.

For example:
http://www.google.de/ works (without Diigo). HOWEVER, if I restore it via

Google Browser Sync, the notes disappear. http://www.google.de/ is my
homepage, so I see the notes when my firefox starts up, but then I sync
it,
and even though google.de was one of the synced pages, the notes
disappear.

I think I found a possible source of the problem: when I disable all
extension
except Internotes, these pages work:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

The others work, but sometimes intermittently.

However, when I enable Google Browser sync and restore tabs, then
Internotes doesn't work at all.

I hope that helps.
