5 Buttons and Tools menu entry disappear - ID: 1540235
Last Update: Settings changed ( kemil )

Hi,

Installed Spamato for Thunderbird (on debian linux)
last night. Once I followed the install instructions,
and upgraded my java to 1.5, it ran fine.

I shut down my PC last night before going to bed.
Started it up this morning, ran Thunderbird, and the
Spamato toolbar buttons and Tools menu entry had
completely disappeared. It still showed up in the
Extensions panel, and the web interface on port 8574
still works.

I tried to restore the buttons in the 'Customise Menu'
dialog, but they were gone from there as well.

I tried uninstalling then reinstalling Spamato, but the
problem persists.

In desperation, I uninstalled Spamato, deleted my
~/.spamato directory, reinstalled Spamato, then the
buttons and Tools menu entry came back.

Any thoughts on this?

Cheers
David

No idea yet :-(. But it has been reported by other users on
Linux and here is also another Bug Report: 1504311.

I'll close this one as it has been reported before. But
thanks for the additional information.
