Hi,

I'm trying to setup the webmin module on a new server.

But no matter what settings i put in the
configuration screen, it still comes up and says:-

MailScanner has not been configured correctly. You
must use the module configuration to set it before
this module will work.

I've checked, and double checked it. It's the same
settings as my old server, but i still can't get it
to work:(

Settings are:-

Full path to MailScanner program
/usr/sbin/MailScanner
Full path and filename of MailScanner config file
/etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf
Full path to the MailScanner bin directory
/usr/sbin
Full path and filename for the MailScanner pid file
/var/run/MailScanner.pid
Command to start MailScanner Just run server
service MailScanner start
Command to stop MailScanner
service MailScanner stop

Any ideas, as i'm totally stuck, and googling doesn't
bring up anything:)

Date: 2007-07-30 05:55 Sender: dnsau I am having the same problem went to /usr/libexec/webmin/mailscanner and found that config.info had copied itself to config.info~. I deleted that file but still will not activate webmin. Your help and guidance would be appreciated.

Date: 2006-12-06 20:38 Sender: lushman Sorry Danny, not the MailScanner.conf file but the webmin module file called config in the mailscanner directory. i.e. /usr/libexec/webmin/mailscanner/config This file needs to have 775 applied to it.
