QBiOSS - Quickbooks Importer

Hi,

This is a great program! I would mostly like to find
out how enhancements can be made. There are changes
I would be willing to pay someone to make.

Here is a key one for me: I use attributes for most
of my products in Miva Merchant. The attributes are
things like size and color. The cost of the products
is at the product level and no costs are defined for
attributes. In Quickbooks I have main items for the
products and sub-items for the different attributes.
I never sell the main item and it has zero cost and
sales value. I always sell the sub-item in QB and
each sub-item in QB has a cost that is the same. An
example is a shirt that comes in Small, Medium, and
Large. The Miva user must pick a S, M, or L
attribute and in QB I sell the S , M, or L sub item.

When importing this type of sale from QBioss it
brings in 2 lines as advertised. The first is the
product with qty of (1) and a cost (say $15). The
second line is the attribute qty of (1) but with no
cost. The second line is necessary to tell me what
attribute was selected. But this two line system
wreaks accounting and inventory havoc in QB when you
post the sales receipt. The main item causes a repeat
Cost of Goods sold transaction, and an inventory
quantity reduction.

So I would like to QBioss to combine the main product
and the attribute into one line.
