HI !

First, I think it's a marvellous project !
Two real lacks here i think, the BIG: the global
search (not only question side search but in answers
too) and -this is somehow connected to the first flaw:
only one card at time on edit screen so one can't
overview the project appropriately. I mean u hardly
get the whole picture of your current database like
with supermemo dictionary-like listing.(Find
duplicates or merge cards- two things that i do often
but it's a real hassle in this case)
Other thing that i miss :) but it's missed from smemo
too: copy, or move cards between databases. That's
gona be useful i think.

keep workin' it's gona rock

Zol

You have some very interesting points here.

As for global search, we have a per-database search but
not a global one. This is a good idea. I have not
thought of this because I usually can isolate the thing I
am looking for down to the database level.

Being able to see a list of the qestions on one screen
would be nice. I believe I tried this once and ran into
some memory problems. If I load all the questions from a
database into the programs memory and the database happens
to be a very large one then things go bad. To work around
this I was considering adding a browse command to the edit
screen that would do pretty much the same thing. Since it
would not be the first screen loaded when you clicked the
edit button maybe it would be easier to implement. I
might try this on the next release.

A sort feature is sometime that I have been meaning to add
also. This is another thing that gave me problems because
of memory constaints. To sort a large database would mean
loading the database into memory.

These are great ideas. Thanks for your input.
