5 Can't build clisp with new-clx module - ID: 1462995

When trying to build clisp 2.38 on Gentoo GNU/Linux
with X USE flag activated (aka
--with-module=clx/new-clx), it fails at configure sage.

To be brief, I am told I do not have X headers and
thus, it can't build. Problem is that I *do* have X
headers and libraries installed.

That is a problem in the gentoo ebuild.

This bug report is now marked as "pending"/"works for me".
This means that we think that we cannot reproduce the problem
and cannot do anything about it.
Unless you - the reporter - act within 2 weeks
(e.g., by submitting a self-contained test case),
