One thing that FakeSMTPServer really needs is a better
interface for looking at the messages that come into it.
The console is great for a temporary solution, but it
isn't great for the long run.
I envision one of two possible solutions. The first
would be to embed an IMAP server inside of
FakeSMTPServer. That server would display all emails
that came in by logging into the IMAP server as a
single user.
The second possible solution is that I have a GUI that
can be launched at the same time that FakeSMTPServer is
launched. It could be very simple because it doesn't
have to do things like sending messages. We only need
to read them.
