I have just started using Linux in the form of Ubuntu:
localhost kernel [4294667.296000] Linux version
2.6.12-10-386 (buildd@terranova) (gcc version 3.4.5
20050809 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 3.4.4-6ubuntu8.1)) #1 Sat
Mar 11 16:13:17 UTC 2006
running on a Siemens Fujitsu PIII 256 MB Ram & SCSI
Hard drive.
I am trying to install into the default Gnome
desktop, using SUDO -s to open a root session and running
./configure
then
make
and
make install
as directed ubder a Linux install.
configure seem to go OK but in the error report on
screen it says it cant find tclconfig.sh so is
reverting to non tcl
make fails with heaps of text - and an error of 1
attached are config.log and the output from
make > config_make.lst
both in a tar.gz
What I was trying to do was investigate the possibility
of using Xcircuit to draw electrical rather than
electronic drawings with wire nos and device tags.
Contactors, control relays, PLCs and such like.
