xmms-mad

whenever I try to start
http://dsbp.acc-net.com/040505.mp3
or reqest the file info in XMMS with the mad plugin
enabled my xmms freezes and has to be killed.

I use Gentoo with a 2.6.15 kernel
xmms-mad version is 0.8
xmms version is 1.2.10-r15


Having a Intel P4 3.0Ghz
Audio is: Multimedia audio controller: Intel
Corporation 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) AC'97 Audio
Controller (rev 02)
Output of XMMS is: OSS 1.2.10

Some errormessages which had appeard in my terminal
when the problem occured:

the stream worked after disableing mad input plugin.
