There is need for an fsck.hfsplus that works with
recent Linux kernels and GNU software (Fedora Core 4/5
comes to mind).
I did find an RPM somewhere that implements Roman's
patch to 10.2.5 but after compilation the fsck.hfsplus
that it produced segfaulted on Fedora Core 4.
Currently, I cannot access my HFS+ volume for writing
under Linux, while MacDrive (6.0.8) works fine on
Windows XP SP2, although it gives a warning that the
volume was uncleanly mounted. As someone pointed out,
the only fix is to find a Mac and do a verify/repair in
the Disk utility.
