Hello,
I have noticed that it is impossible for me to update or
delete files and folders because none of the xoopsforge
project files were chowned to me by the last admin,
whose credentials still are bound to this projects files
and folders. I do not have sufficient permissions to
chown them all to my user name.
While I know it would have been best to have to the old
admin chown them all to me before he left, it did not
happen, and has also been the case with other projects
that I am now the PM for so I know it's not an isolated
occurance.
My suggestion... create a checklist for PM and Admin
project staff to follow when transferring a project to
someone else's care and administration that includes
the shell services that relate to file ownership.
