3 Silent install - ID: 1297996

Details:

I want to add Retro Scan Identd to a RIS (Remote
Installation Service) image, the only problem with this is
that there isn't a silent switch in the install. I mean
something like: identd -installs
Now the whole setup waits till I click the OK button ;)
Not a real problem with one or two pc's but with about
30 or more it is a little anoying :-)

I use Retina Scan at a school for squid.

Date: 2007-11-28 05:00 Sender: nobody Logged In: NO /silent shows only the progress dialog, with no confirmations, and /norestart will prevent the messagebox asking if it is ok to restart the machine, with the disadvantage the the service isn't available until next time somebody restarts.

Date: 2006-01-18 14:39 Sender: bshogeman Logged In: YES user_id=998581 But the service itself when registering still shows a message window without timeout or silent option :( If it was a command-line message there was no problem but a messagebox with an ok button is. I now have solved it by loading an autoit script before registering the service so it isn't really a problem anymore. But for a next version it is a nice option ;)
