It would be excellent to have the ability to add custom user
fields, including a custom user Avatar. And make the use of
this Avatar selectable for use as a "custom logo" to fit into
the header, or become the site logo header (with
administrative permission).

People want to know about the photographers, the artists,
that post to galleries and providing additional fields for bio,
artist statements, techniques, etc, would enhance the user
experience immeasurably. This includes the use of an
avatar that could be allowed to be used at the site logo
following the owner of an album.
