8 Form broken exceptions - ID: 1254545

Details:

Currently in the insert view whenever appropriate data
fields that are needed to populate and create a new view
instance are not filled in, on hitting the "commit
insertion to the system" button a form broken exception
is thrown. This should be replaced by appropriate dialog
boxes with status messages indicating to the user what
was missing and why was the form broken.

Now, the field that is part of the index string would have a '*' sign at the end of its label so that the user would know this field must be filled out. If some of those fields are not complete, an error dialog would pop up
