Sign up appears to fail but doesn't - ID: 1174544

When a randomly selected user wishes to shop they will
attempt to sign up (as the option is there) this fails (or
appears to) but the account is created anyway.
This "sign-up" should transparently merge with xoops or
seperate as a second account (??)
On the whole it's looking good though.
