5 Bad Calendar in european Countries - ID: 1171213
Last Update: Comment added ( nobody )

hey folks,

users, who work with european versions of Windows have
a problem with the calendar. Date is one day false (to
high). You can see the failure on
http://www.ruutvanrossen.nl/blog/blog.html and many
other european sites. Maybe it is caused by the
different internal date format of localised windows.

Short term solution is to edit the Front Page template and
change the order of days so that Monday is first day of the
week. Seems to solve the problem.

As mentionned in the FAQ :
http://thingamablog.sourceforge.net/faq.html#weekdays you
will have to manually edit your templates. It is quite
annoying but you only need to do it once for each template.
