Details:

Since there are no recent 32-bit binaries, I attempted
to compile the program as 64-bit. Compiles fine and
loads however I cannot get it to talk to any calculators.

Date: 2005-03-01 20:58 Sender: damicatz Logged In: YES user_id=373610 I'm using a black serial cable, one of the orginal types. It could be something specific to serial, as SilverLink is USB isn't it? I won't have time to mess around with the back up the computer and rehook the calculator up though until this weekend. If it does indeed work I'll file another bug with Gentoo Linux's Bug System (http://packages.gentoo.org/search/?sstring=tilp) as tilp is marked as not available for AMD64.

When I posted this bug report, I was using devfs however I have since switched to udev, so I'll try again this weekend and see if it exhibits the same problem with udev.
