Paste from Illustrator looks horrid - ID: 1082503

Adobe Illustrator CS puts both PICT and PDF on the clipboard. The
PICT renders absolutely hideously, at least via QuickDraw. No
antialiasing, and some really ugly artifacting of some kind on
embedded raster images.
The PDF looks fine pasted into Preview, so is presumably good.
Pulling the PDF preferentially to the PICT is probably not too
hard...
