I would like to see next release of TSEP to return only
the search results (files: *.htm, html, php or *.*) that
exists.
For example, lets say I have a file named "TEST.TXT"
and it contains the following lines:
<Start of File>
1 Name: John Doe
2 Dob: 01/01/1969
3 Sex: Male
4 Occupation: Student
<End of File>
If my search term is "John Doe" then "TEST.TXT" should
show up as one or the only result.
However, "TEST.TXT" will also show up as a result
whether "TEST.TXT" exists or not or if someone deleted
it. We will only know by clicking the link if the file exists
or not.
The feature I am proposing is that TSEP should do the
verification of whether "TEST.TXT" exists or not before
returning it as the result. If "TEST.TXT" exists then
display it as one of the results - if not then simply do
not return it as one of the results.
Thanks.
PS: I will be glad to contribute my time if you guys need
any help (no offense) !!!
