To clarify the E-Signature when the Submit button is
clicked a window pops-up and requests the user to
enter their user name and password to submit the log.

If 'guest menu commands' is present, anybody can read entries, but to write a new entry, one has to log in. After submitting the entry, the login expires quickly as defined in the 'login expiration', so the login has to be repeated for the next entry. I will however consider to add the functionality you requested.
