portage-c: error while loading shared libraries:
libportage-c.so: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory

This is a strange error, and I don't seem to be able to
diagnose it. Everyone should just be aware right now
that the ebuild for portage-c is broke.

Date: 2004-10-23 23:59 Sender: maxauthority Logged In: YES user_id=775197 i can confirm this, because i had exactly the same problem. building it manually with ./build.sh from the bz2 image worked however. thanks for this project, because I really love gentoo, but core system libraries should still be written in c(++) imho.
