The following distribution contains the missing fj/ffj ligatures: http://numbertext.org/linux/MagyarLinLibertine-20100315.zip. I have also tried to add letter faces to the ligature positions of the small caps font (it's very useful in word processors for automatic small caps reformatting in table of contents and headings), but I just recognized, the result is bad in PDF-viewers (see attached screenshot.

Note: PDF output of OpenOffice.org doesn't distort the new small caps ligatures using ttf instead of otf.

    Thanks for your request.
    Well, where to start:
ffj-Ligature: This is a very, ver seldom ligature. In italic face I think it is even ugly, because three descenders so tight next to eachother just doesn't look good.
Ligatures in small caps: Ligatures also have disadvantages. In documents with ligatures one isn't able to find words containg a ligature if one doesn't know. In cases where a ligature doesn't have an obvious advantage, I don't accept it for Libertine.

Thanks for your answer. I believe, ugliness of the Italic ffj is similar to the ffl-ligature (both of versal and italic forms).
The ffj combination is not so rare in Hungarian, because in addition to the rare compound words, all nouns ending with ff may have the frequent possessive suffix -ja/-je, eg. "blöffje", "griffje", "seriffje", "puffja", "muffja", "Falstaffja" (see a Google search for these words, moreover, affix -ja/-je has a few hundred forms combined with other affixes, eg. "blöffjét", "blöffjeit", "blöffjéről" etc.).

Small caps ligature characters are only for the small caps font for word processors without OpenType features support. But now I have tried Graphite font format, supported by OOo 3.2, and OpenType like features works well with it (except the searching for words with ligatures in the PDF export, but this is a Graphite integration problem of OOo).

I've just noticed, that Minion Pro of Adobe Reader has cursive ffj ligature, see the attached screenshot. The font has fi.sc and fl.sc glyphs, too.

I'd like to put in an additional request for two ligatures I just found in a German text (oddly, only in the printing statement in the back, and not in the main text) published by Edition Argus. The pairs f_b and f_l were both ligated, and looked quite nice. Both pairs are common in German words, but I can't tell if they are ligated when Libertine typesets (or simply glyph collisions).
