It is easy to change the state of a topic and a
comment. That is good. There does not seem to be a
way to get CodeStriker to store the name and date
associated with each state change. That is not so good.
I want to be able to see who changed a state, and
when it was changed, as well as who deleted a topic
(and when). You can see who added a topic, and that is
goodness. But I really need more to make this an
effective tool for our environment.
The rationale behind this is for metrics collection. I need
to be able to figure out how long it took for a change to
get reviewed, and how long it took before the review
comments were acted on, and how long overall it took
the topic to go from Open to Committed.
Today, hard disks are getting huge and storage space is
not that critical in general. I would not think that adding
this information will significantly overburden the
database and file system.
