5 setting free hand drawing tool thickness to 1 won't stick - ID: 3575835

Whenever I set the freehand draw tool thickness to 1, it always reverts back to 2. I can move the slider or type 1 in the box, but when I leave that window and click on the freehand line box again it's at 2. I can't get it any thinner. Thanks.

Everything works exactly as it is intended to work.

weird.... suddenly it works now. But some other weird thing happened. There
were two of the exact same text note on top of each other. I deleted the
top one but the one underneath is burned into the pdf. I can't edit it or
select any of it's text. which I don't mind it's supposed to be there...
but it's just weird... the notes were made in skim.
