away status - icon doesn't disappear

Hello
I was doing a DM so i setted my status away
I changed my outfit during the DM
When i finished DM, I changed my status but I still could see the dog the shows the away status.
I tried with a friend to get private messages and i ve got them, but always the dog was on my head ^^
When i changed area (i scrolled to semos) the dog wasn't there.
