5 Copy-paste-escape truncates original file in 0.5 - ID: 2710035

Reproduce as follows:
* select a file, say "foo.txt"
* press ctrl+C
* press ctrl+V -> dialog opens
* hit escape -> "foo.txt" truncated to zero bytes!
