9 Boundary condition in mpeg2_movie - ID: 224662
Last Update: Comment added ( heroines )

Some of you may have noticed purple squares in mpeg2_movie's output. In fact, mpeg2_movie seems to have a boundary overflow. Any full black areas wrap into purple on P frames but not I frames.

The boundary condition seemed to be caused by omitting the inverse
transforms. The inverse transforms are not used for statistics but are
required for predicting the next frame.
