4 Option to control automatic expansion of dirs in tree pane - ID: 1893449

It would be nice if there were a configuration option to control whether or not selected directories in the tree pane automatically expand. The current behavior is particularly annoying if navigating the tree pane using the keyboard arrow keys. Since there isn't a way to skip over lost+found directories when using the keyboard, every traversal over one results in a permission denied dialog. For bonus points, add the ability of the left and right arrow keys to collapse and expand (respectively) the currently selected directory. :)

(Windows explorer does actually get some things right ;) )

We hope this issue is completely fixed in the Git repository recently.
Check it out when it's possible for you and if the bug still exists then
reopen the report, please.
