5 make fails when ~/.semanticdb is missing - ID: 1226542
Last Update: Comment added ( zappo )

When invoking "make" for byte-compiling cedet-1.0pre2
without the subdir ".semanticdb" in the user's home
dir, it fails for semantic:

[...]
emacs -batch --no-site-file -l grammar-make-script -f
semantic-grammar-batch-build-packages semantic-grammar.wy
Loading
/usr/libexec/emacs/21.4/i386-redhat-linux/fns-21.4.1-x.el
(source)...
Opening directory: no such file or directory,
/home/daniel/.semanticdb
make[1]: *** [metagrammar] Error 255
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/cedet-1.0pre2/semantic'
make: *** [semantic] Error 2

The problem goes away with "mkdir ~/.semanticdb" before
running "make".
