At long last this has been implemented and is in the CVS repository. This
will appear in the upcoming 1.9.5 release.

Sounds good. This request has been around for a long time
now - I think this will be the next feature I work on for
the next release. Thanks for the link.

A Perl syntax highlighting library that supports tons of
languages:

Syntax highlighting would indeed be very nice to have, I'm
currently thinking of a hack using vim2html
(http://freshmeat.net/projects/vim2html/) to do it as
otherwise I find myself opening the file being reviewed in
vim running near the browser instead of reading it inside
the browser itself.

FYI: I used 'Code2HTML' with minor changes to produce line
number links for a similar (to codestriker) facility.

See 'http://www.palfrader.org/code2html/'

May be the enscript could be used for this.
Direct geneartion of html from enscript does not include the
line numbers.

I second that opinion. It would be really nice to have code
highlighting
