5 Problem with remote MS volumes? - ID: 1003413
Last Update: Tracker Item Submitted ( wilensky )

On a Win2k box, I get the following error when trying to
run Opencyc .7 from a remotely mounted volume:
--------------------------------------------------
...
H:\opencyc-0.7.0\run>bin\latest.exe -w world\latest.load
Loading statics.
Mapping in the memory image.

Implementation error: Could not create file mapping
OS-Err: 87: The parameter is incorrect.
.

H:\opencyc-0.7.0\run>popd

H:\opencyc-0.7.0\scripts\win>

I copied the folder to my c drive, and everything works
fine:
--------------------------------------------------
C:\opencyc-0.7.0\run>bin\latest.exe -w world\latest.load
Loading statics.
Mapping in the memory image.
