Highlight: selection not highlighted across edit panes.

The highlight plugin seems to have some kind of switch between "word under caret" and "selection" highlighting.

Highlighting selection text in edit pane A works by selecting text in edit pane B only if edit pane A has something selected.
Highlighting words in edit pane A works by putting the caret on top of a word in edit pane B only if edit pane A has nothing selected.
In other word, highlighting text in an edit pane from another edit pane only works if panes are both in "selection" or in "word under caret" mode.

Tested in the highlight plugin 1.9.7 in jEdit 4.4.1
