Patch will follow the next days, the right implementation takes some time.

Hello Tobias (or Mathes ?),
You may submit your patch, but I will not commit it into CVS tree. That's not because I don't want this feature (which I find it useful), but NOCC is intended to use as less PHP extensions as possible in order to be used as widely as possible (systems speaking).
If you prefer, you may distribute this patch by yourself (or a user contributed version of NOCC), and I will be happy to put a link on the website to your patch / version.

it's not meant (nor designed) as requirement for the usage of NOCC. It's intended as _additional_ feature for people which can and would use it. I already modified the check.php to always DISABLE the LDAP feature if the installed PHP has no support for LDAP.
It's designed as an _extension_ to the contact adressbook and no major change to it, also not meant as one.
I would like to see it in the official NOCC. I also made my decision to submit, useful, changes to the official NOCC project. I am not a friend of project forks, it's usually
not good for the main project nor for the fork.
As trade off for both of us, I can design it more like a 'real' extension, with minimum modification to the main project. Like a 'replacement' (or modified version) of the contact addressbook.
Kind regards,
Tobias. ;-)
