  • Status bar/icon?

Would be great to have some sort of status bar, icon or something to identify the progress of the conversion after the file has been downloaded. Without seeing anything going on, I was unsure if it was actually doing anything (although now I see it is after I browsed to the directory again and saw the new .wmv files being created). Thanks for a great program!

  • Youtube updated: Doesn't work anymore!

This worked perfectly before, but now this tool doesn't work at youtube anymore after a Youtube update. For example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0p55VLM-EyA . I get the error message: "failed to download the video". System info: Windows xp sp2 Cpu: 2.56 GhZ.

  • Comment: GUI to add other services

I think this would be a wonderful idea. It would be an easy way to add our own services we use the most.

  • Putfile Download

Now that Putfile has decided to switch to flash as well, could we perhaps get that incorporated into the IE extension as well? Thanks for the consideration!

  • Comment: Automatically grab highest quality

I think that there is only that one quality. I may be mistaken myself, but I don't think so. There is only so much FFMPEG can do on convert quality as well...

  • Comment: Automatically grab highest quality

I am not sure how the highest quality source could be found. Also, I am not doing any additional screen scraping besides the current page IE is on.

  • Automatically grab highest quality

for instance... in YouTube you get the icon visible when looking at a small version but not on the full screen (unless I'm missing something obvious!) wold be great if it does the conversion from the highest quality source it can find...

  • GUI to add other services

Is there a way to modify it to use with other online services that service up video the same way? Would be cool of there was a gui interface to name a service, give baseline URL, and off you go.
