A N N O U N C E M E N T -- ZoneMaster 0.99.2 The ZoneMaster project is pleased to announce the availability of ZoneMaster 0.99.2, a name server and zone file management system with web-based user-interface and database backend. This release contains the following enhancements: * Better support for slave zones * JobListView to list unfinished jobs * Revokation of unfinished jobs * Use of CSS 2.0 in XSLT stylesheets * Bug fixes and code optimizations This release includes the following major components: * zonemaster.cgi - the web-based user-interface * bootstrap.pl - initializing the database * jobhandler.pl - execution of open jobs * testdata.pl - generating test data * extractdata.pl - create new config files This release contains a number of code changes but is tested as much as possible. AVAILABILITY This software is available under the GNU General Public License at: http://www.zonemaster.org/ SUPPORT The ZoneMaster home page containing lots of interesting information and online documentation is available at: http://www.zonemaster.org/ REQUIREMENTS The software is tightly related to the Internet Software Consortium's (ISC) Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) daemon. You can get the latest release at: http://www.isc.org As a storage for all information the software needs a relational database supported through a perl DBI driver. Currently, we recommend MySQL. You can get the latest release at: http://www.mysql.com As a web server we recommend Apache Software Foundation's (ASF) Apache web server in combination with mod_ssl as its SSL/TLS security extension. You can get the latest release at: http://httpd.apache.org http://www.modssl.org SUPPORTED PLATFORMS This release is tested under FreeBSD but is supposed to run under many UNIX (and UNIX-like) platforms.
