Open source YouTube downloader made with C#. You can enter multiple videos to download, and it automatically downloads them in the highest resolution it can. Quick, fast, and easy! More developers are going to be joining the project with me soon.
Running on a fresh vanilla install of Windows XP SP3 gives... "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application." - Probably not a good sign. So I install '.net 2.0' speculatively in case the programmer forgot to mention the dependency. - It starts up. I paste a YouTube URL into the box. I press 'Browse' to set a destination folder. I press 'Download!'... "Error: Please choose a destination folder for your downloads" - Hummmmmm. I try again... "Error: Please choose a destination folder for your downloads" In my irritation I press the 'Queue it up!' button... "YouTube Downloader has encountered a problem and needs to close"... I think you know the rest. It is a shame really.
