YaiNET will be an ircserver "for everyone". Unlike many existing ircd-servers, YaiNET aims for the enduser, and the idea is that eventually dialup users should be able to create addhoc ircnets easily. Existing ircd's are more focused on big nets, with heavyduty servers. Eventually we hope to add some proxyfeature to support cryptography, but that is in the future. The homepage is far from interesting, but now it is valid CSS and HTML at least. The best way of learning about YaiNET; is probably to read the quickinstall guide, and run a server yourself, however, it is still recommendable to know something/read about how to link servers, if you are going to try and link - YaiNET is still in early development.
The homepage now validates as HTML 4.01 Transitional! We have also removed the link to the file http://sourceforge.net/sourceforge.css since sourceforge no longer uses it. In fact they depreciate its use. Go and check out the new homepage! http://yainetplus.sourceforge.net/
I have added "Test and doc forum". A forum to discuss doc and test-related stuff. Reason: I want to check if it proves usefull. I hope it does.
