Most likely, yes. I'm on linux now and it is difficult for me to test various windows-specific features. My plans are to release a gui version for windows to eliminate the need for cygwin. Loadable modules are already complete and I do believe they will work natively on windows as well. The current module implementation relies on dynamic linking, however it would only involve a few small changes to allow dynamic (e.g., runtime) loading and unloading of modules. Planned for future versions is the ability to use different protocols (e.g., irc, aim, msn, etc) via modules. I don't have time or resources to continue development full time on yacca, however I am working on it as much as I can. If enough donations roll in then I will be able to resume full time development, however that is not very likely since there aren't a lot of people interested in a chat bot :)
