• XSServer Inauguration: "PrePrePre Alpha"

  This is a project intended to make possible to configure squid, iptables and dhcpd to make them work together in an easy way, as today im the only developer and manager of the project, so the development can be slow. WORKING DESCRIPTION: In a basic concept the Server would store the configuration of the different networks, hosts, rules and blacklists into a database-file (sqlite) after this it will generate the configuration files used by those servers making them to work together. DHCPD would have the network configuration and hosts macaddress registered in the config file. IPTABLES would have those macaddress configured to see what services are orking for what host SQUID-CACHE (working in transparent mode) would handle via squid-guard the blacklists access to the different groups of users. So as you can see those 3 tools are related and this server will make the configuration job. If you know java (JNI), C or know lots about iptables, dhcpd and/or squid (with squid-guard) we need your help to make this project grow faster.
