Hello,
Yes, you're right, AxisSpecifier with AxisName is not yet supported and it's the same for functions such as text() and so on. This has to be added in the XPath analyzer written with XSLT 1.0 and it is clearly the most complex part of XSLTForms.
There are, also, other points with higher priority today but, for a professional use, this could be added within a week, I think.

Hello, I have some questions.
I'm personally writing XForms document for my practice.
If I'm not doing in a wrong way, XSLTForms seems not supporting
AxisSpecifier with AxisName.
http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath#NT-AxisSpecifier
Q1. Is there any plans for XSLTForms to support AxisSpecifier with AxisName?
Q2. Is there any plans for XSLTForms to support text(), node()...
