'xren' is a file renaming utility for complex rename operations affecting multiple files up to whole directory trees. Runs on Unixes and Windows and maybe also elsewhere. Works by applying arbitrary regular expressions on filenames. Requires Perl. Version 0.1.1 is a maintenance release which fixes a bug of the prior version. Have fun!
