Some of the changes...
*Option to fix the piece during drag and rotate to 90 deg angles when clicked.
*Choose a different shape for the pieces.
*Sorts out all the edge pieces, and puts them in a separate pile.
There are several gui launchers for xjig.
This works in all major GNU/Linux distros.
Known to work on Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Suse, Mint, Puppy, Bodhi, Mageia, Manjaro.
A GUI for xjig has been available for a long time now. Xjig Manager. Here on sourceforge Xjig Manager /projects/xjigmanager/
This is an excellent game, but command line interface makes it unusable for most people. I am trying to make a GUI for xjig. Look for xjiggui
