XFWARE is a distribution of the Xfce desktop environment with more adds and optimizations for Slackware Linux and with a collection of useful applications. It is distributed in Slackware's standard tgz package format.
Slackware's standard package format is now xz-compressed tarballs, txz. Unless someone else begins to work on this project, it will fade away.
It seems like there hasn't been a lot of work on this project for quite a while.
