X File Explorer (Xfe) is an MS-Explorer like file manager for X. It is based on the popular, but discontinued, X Win Commander, which was developed by Maxim Baranov. Xfe aims to be the filemanager of choice for all the Unix addicts!

This is a very powerful and fast file manager. Thanks for your work! All the features are working very well. There is no need to search for other file manager since xfe is available. Randolf Balasus

Nautilus fails to synchronize tree view and folders pane. Not so XFE! Great file Manger, small and snappy, very customizable. I miss a 'find files' option - that could be a feature perhaps for a future version? Thanks Roland for this software!
