• XEmacs Website CVS Repository on SunSITE.dk - Aug 20, 2001

  Greetings! I can hear you say: "Fine, but what does this mean to me?" You will continue to enjoy three master websites, updating within minutes from developers committing changes to our new website repository at SunSITE.dk. These websites are: http://www.dk.xemacs.org (hosted by SunSITE.dk) http://www.us.xemacs.org (hosted by sourceforge.net) http://www.xemacs.org (hosted by tux.org) In addition, you can visit these website mirrors, which update once per day: http://www.at.xemacs.org/ http://www.au.xemacs.org/ http://www.be.xemacs.org/ http://www.fi.xemacs.org/ http://www.ie.xemacs.org/ http://www.it.xemacs.org/ "And why was this done?", you may ask. For one we had to fix a broken process (http://www.xemacs.org/About/XEmacsServices.html#issue6), but you may well see SunSITE.dk play an even greater role in the future. For those participating in website development, or just curious about the internal, the repository has moved to sunsite.dk. This gives us better bandwidth for many regions, especially Europe, and seems to be at least as good in the US. SunSITE administration is also more responsive to our special needs than SourceForge was. • Closing CVS repository for development, website experiments

  Hi All! In order to do some undisclosed testing I will disable commits to cvs.xemacs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/xemacs NOW. The website http://www.us.xemacs.org/ may be out of sync with http://www.xemacs.org and http://www.dk.xemacs.org for some days.
