Can't start XBT Tracker

  1. 2011-03-12 07:28:04 PST
Hello, I'm trying to run XBT Tracker with XBTIT on a Windows 7 - 64bit based server; Apache 2.2.17 PHP 5.3.4 MySQL 5.5.8 Everything is running well but I can't start XBT Tracker. As a service it just says 'the service name is invalid' and as a regular program it says that libmysql.dll is missing from my computer. I took libmysql.dll from MySQL bin folder and copied to the system32 dir and tried to register it but I got the error "... libmysql.dll was loaded but the entry-point DLLRegisterServer was not found..." I tried uninstalling and making everything again but still no luck. Any ideas on where should I look at? Thank you in advance.

There's no need to register the DLL. Copying it into system32 or the app dir should be enough. You can install the service via xbt_tracker --installl. But try to run it as a normal app first.

Thank you for the quick response. I copied it to the system32 dir but doesn't work. Also tried copying it to the app dir but I got another error: " The app was unable to start correcly (0xc000007b)..." That's trying to start it like a normal app.

I can't get it to work. I don't know what I missing but keep giving me the error "The app was unable to start correctly (0xc00007b).." What could be wrong? It seems that I'm the only one facing this problem because I don't find any information about this problem. Any ideas?

Find out what 0xc00007b means. Using Linux would avoid this too. ;)
