    If you are using Windows version you may be in trouble in terms of security. If you are considering your network security, I would suggest you to stay away from this xbmc thing. Whatever you name it (they've changed XBMC name to Kodi) this attempt is a good example for bad programming. Design may be good but there are a lot of holes in the programming part, especially in network traffic & security. Also, one of the developers in the forum wrote me that I have to "trust" to Windows Firewall and if I don't I shouldn't use internet at all.. Think how serious these guys are and make up your mind. It is like a bad joke..

    Java? No. Not secure. Period. It has a slightly worse track record then Fat Albert. moving along....

    NOT recommended for Windows XP. Installed on XP SP3. Ran. XBMC grabbed whole screen. Easy to use but impossible to minimise. Attempted to exit but system locked. Eventuallly shut down system and de-installed on restart.
