This program pops-up a window when a user receives a write, broadcast, talk request or shutdown announcement in X.Sort of like kwrited, but does not require (or care about) kde support.

xbcast 0.1.10 (pre-alpha) released
xbcast is a program to notify the user about various alerts while in the X-Window system, by displaying windows with writes, talk requests, broadcasts or shutdown announcements. This version comes with an improved installation procedure. The messages are more sane, I fixed a few bugs, but the --install flag needs more testing.
