x3270 is the only useful open source 3270 emulator I've found over the past 20 years. The quality level is up there with the well-known commercial offerings and the portability is unmatched. I use x3270 professionally on OpenBSD, Windows, Linux and Mac OS. The author/maintainer is engaged and responsive. Indispensable!

A very important software product as more mainframe users merge with the Linux world. In fact, some of this merge would be very difficult without x3270. I am astonished at the amount of time and effort contributed by the author for a "free" product.

Really nice multiplatform project, with features available where the system has them and excellent support from the mantainer.

great application! A terminal emulator in Windows console is so rare. The vest choice with a console wrapper like ConsoleZ.
