Has a wealthy bug tracker, but keeps on improving. Useful and simple to link against and start using. One of the best C++ frameworks

I got the task to rewrite an MFC application to become portable and run on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Using wxWindows, it was a breeze and the end result was not only portable but actually working better on Windows as well.

A very good design followed by a lot of continuous work. One of the best frameworks I've ever used. Everything you need is in the code samples and the excellent documentation.

Simple, powerful and mature framework. And no license issue when it comes about commercial software (contrary to QT)

Good framework, makes cross platform development easier and applications work and look as if they were built for any platform.
